Two Diffuser Blends for Autumn

As much as I love the summer, Autumn is one of my favourite times of the year. The days are dry and crisp but the nights are chilly, which is the perfect weather for getting cosy. And I like to be cosy. My trip to Copenhagen back in February introduced me to the art of living Danishly and Hygge a loan word that means so much more than just cosiness but this year, I intend to fully embrace it.

Starting with the blends that I use in my diffuser. Using your essential oils and your diffuser won’t just create a warm, cosy atmosphere inside your home and make it smell great but it will also give your immune system a good old boost – which is crucial as colds and flu are already whizzing around.

There are so many warm, enchanting blends that you may want to experiment with but here are my top two to help you get started on your autumnal journey…

PS: Want to get your hands on these oils? And a diffuser? Leave me a message below or shoot me an email and I’ll let you know how.

Now, these two blends will SCREAM cosy, autumn nights in front of the fire.

Pumpkin Spice Latte Blend.

The world seems utterly OBSESSED with Pumpkin Spice. I’m going to have to be truthful, I’ve tried a pumpkin spice latte and it’s not my thing. I’ll be sticking to the chai latte from now on. But whilst I didn’t much appreciate the taste, I did love the smell.

For this blend you need:

3 drops of Clove
3 drops of Cassia (cinnamon)
3 drops of OnGuard*
2 drops of Wild Orange

* If you’re wondering what OnGuard is, it’s a special doTERRA blend – see the below video for more info

The second blend is my beloved chai tea latte.
I seriously cannot get enough of this drink. I love it hot, I love it cold – however you want to serve it up, I’m there. So a diffuser blend that allows me to smell it all day – perfect.

Chai Tea Latte Blend (1)

For this blend you need:
2 drops of Cassia
2 drops of Cardamom
2 drops of Clove
1 drop of Ginger

So get the diffuser out and start with these blends, you’ll be in hygge heaven in no time.

What smells remind you of autumn?

  1. It’s that photo again! Love it! I’ve never had a pumpkin spice latte but I know I wouldn’t like it: I’m a latte purist, haha! Your oil blend sounds great though.

  2. Hahaha omg I also don’t get the hype around pumpkin spiced lattes! There is nothing pumpkin about them and they are always far too sweet! I’ll stick to my Chai latte too!
