How to make Nutella Hot Chocolate

I think that we can safely say that winter has arrived. Luckily for me I’ve not yet had my “summer” holiday yet so I’m holding on to the fact that I’ll get a bit of sunshine before I have to succumb to chunky knits and boots.

However, there is an upside to this dreary weather – HOT CHOCOLATE! And keeping in with my Nutella obsession (I could literally post Nutella recipes all day long – trust me)

Here is how to make Nutella hot chocolate…

What you need (for one mug)…

– 2 tablespoons of Nutella (or chocolate/hazelnut spread of your choice)

– A mug of milk (I used almond milk as I’m trying to cut back on dairy but whatever you fancy works)

– Marshmallows or Whipped Cream (optional extra!)

Simply heat the milk on a medium heat and add the Nutella. Keep mixing until the Nutella is completely dissolved and mixed with the milk. Once it begins to boil, remove from the heat, pour in to your favorite mug, garnish with marshmallows (if you fancy them) then sit back, relax and enjoy.

    1.  @WhoopAss I am still totally addicted to nutella, although haven’t had it for a while. I know I put this post on rachaelblogs but thought it should be here too after all, who wouldn’t want a nutella hot choc in this terrible weather.
