Monday Inspiration #002

Beach Huts in Felixstowe

Last year I went to Suffolk and was promised – PROMISED – that it would be a weekend full of sunshine. We arrived at The Salthouse Harbour Hotel (< seriously, I can’t tell you how amazing this place is) and entered like two little drowned rats. The rain was like nothing I’d seen before – and I’m from South Wales which is known for its generous rain fall.

Now as you read this I’ll be in Suffolk again and hopefully this time I’ll manage to see some sun.

  1. I love the rain, but I have to agree with you. I wouldn’t want rain when I’m on vacation. I prefer the rain when I’m home and relaxing. I hope you find some sun. 🙂

  2. Oooo, rain is NOT my favorite weather. I grew up in Colorado, which has an average of 300 days of sunshine a year. I ran screaming from Washington State. Missouri does get quite a bit of rain, but this year it has rained for most of the last month, which is really unusual. Now many areas have had very bad flooding. Hopefully your next vacation will be a little drier! Try Las Vegas!

    All the best,

  3. Gosh, what pretty beach huts. Maybe your next post can be about how much they cost- did you see the one on BBC news recently that went for what, £200,000? In Dorset? Gosh, we are in the wrong business, says one journalist to another 😉

    1. Omg I know!!! They are SO expensive. They cost about £100 a night to rent too – which makes you wonder who would chose that over a decent hotel.

  4. It’s a fantastic plus beneficial section of info. Now i’m joyful which you simply embraced this beneficial information along with us. Please keep us up to par like this. Thanks for spreading.
